A Twin Cities motorist died in a collision Monday with a semitrailer truck after she strayed over the centerline in southern Minnesota, authorities said.
The crash occurred about 1:40 p.m. on Hwy. 13 in Otisco Township, just south of Waseca, according to the State Patrol.
Kelly R. Merrill, 50, of Prior Lake, was declared dead at the scene, the patrol said.
Merrill was driving her car south, crossed into the northbound lane and collided with the truck, officials said. The truck driver, Nicholas J. Zimmerman, 26, was not hurt.
