Driver killed when car flips on S. Minnesota highway

The crash occurred just before sunrise in Dodge County.

A man from Dodge Center, Minn., is dead after he rolled his car, the State Patrol said.

Michael Joe Anderst, 64, was driving south on Hwy. 56 near the intersection of Hwy. 14 in Wasioja Township when his 1990 Mazda Miata went off the road, vaulted across gravel driveway and rolled.

Anderst was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, which was reported at 5:33 a.m. Wednesday. He was the lone occupant of the vehicle, the State Patrol said.
