Driver killed in Anoka ID'd as Wisconsin woman, 66

Authorities have identified the driver who died in a collision caused when she turned in front of another vehicle in Anoka.

Diane W. Barrette, 66, of Hudson, Wis., died Tuesday in the midafternoon wreck on Bunker Lake Boulevard near 38th Avenue, according to the medical examiner's office for Anoka County.

Barrette was making a U-turn on Bunker Lake in her car and was struck by an SUV driven by a 17-year-old girl, according the Sheriff's Office.

The teen and a passenger in the SUV were treated at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids for non-critical injuries.
