A car rolled over before dawn over the weekend on a residential street in Brooklyn Park, leaving the driver dead, authorities said.
Police officers were called to the scene about 5:20 a.m. Sunday on a report of a "suspicious vehicle" in the 6200 block of Sunny Lane, near Winnetka Boulevard and 62nd Avenue N., police said.
"The officers found that a one-vehicle rollover accident had occurred," said Deputy Police Mark Bruley.
The driver was a 56-year-old woman, Bruley said. She was declared dead at the scene. Her identity has yet to be released.
Authorities have yet to disclose the circumstances leading up to the car rolling over.
