Driver dies after crashing into building in Plymouth

The crash occurred about 8:30 p.m. Sunday on 21st Avenue N.

Plymouth police have yet to identify the driver who died after crashing into a building Sunday night.

Around 8:30 p.m., officers observed black smoke in the 14600 block of 21st Avenue N. When they arrived they located a fully-engulfed car that had crashed through the side of the building.

Fire crews arrived shortly after and put out the blaze. Authorities discovered a body in the vehicle, said Deputy Chief Erik Fadden.

Police released few other details Monday morning about the incident, which is still under investigation.
