Defensive end Chris Doleman will represent the Vikings in announcing the team's second-round pick (43rd overall) next Friday in the NFL draft.

The league announced today that 32 legendary NFL alumni will announce a selection in this draft. This will be the first time in NFL Draft history every selection in a round has been announced by former players. Doleman was a first-round pick by the Vikings in 1985 and played with the team through 1993.

He had a second stint with the Vikings in 1999. Doleman was among the list of 15 finalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame this past winter but did not make the cut into the final 10.

Carolina, Miami and the New York Jets do not have second-round picks, so their player representatives will announce third-round selections for the three teams.
