“I’ve been fishing from my stand-up paddleboard for five years now. I used to be a fishing guide up here in the Brainerd Lakes area, but I have a hard time fishing out of a boat anymore. I like the activity, the exercise, the motion. It’s quite relaxing. I use a milk crate on the very front of my board, and I put all my gear in there. And then I have a rodholder, which is basically just a piece of PVC pipe zip-tied to the milk crate at an angle. And I actually put a little portable depth finder on my board, too.”
