"The Duluth Traverse is a mountain bike trail that will go from the far west side of Duluth all the way to the east side, about 40 miles. We'll be about half done by the end of the summer. Once completed, the Duluth Traverse will connect six different mountain bike riding spots in Duluth for a total of 100 miles of single track inside city limits. There's a new stretch along the Lester River, on the far east side of town. It's one of the prettiest completed sections at this point. The Lester River is a gorgeous, steep stream, and the trail goes just above it. So you're looking down into this amazing North Shore stream with waterfalls and the big white pines are all around you."
