It's not too late to stock up on Thanksgiving essentials.

What would Thanksgiving pie be without ice cream? Fortunately, Izzy's Ice Cream is in the midst of its pint sale. Through Nov. 22, pick up pints for $5. Stock up on salted caramel, maple nut, butter pecan, honey, vanilla and other pie-friendly flavors. Buy five pints, and the sixth one is free.

The Linden Hills Farmers Market has moved indoors for the winter, and the pre-Thanksgiving gathering — inside the Sunnyside Gardens greenhouse — will be the place to stock up on locally sourced ingredients from area farmers, bakers, cheesemakers, chocolatiers, specialty foods producers and more. Food trucks, too. Open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Nov. 22, and continues each Sunday — same time, same place — through Dec. 20.

Leave all Thanksgiving pie-making duties to a James Beard-nominated pastry chef. On Monday, Michelle Gayer and her Salty Tart crew are taking over Hola Arepa for a pie pop-up, hawking five varieties (classic pumpkin, bourbon-pecan, apple with oatmeal streusel, chocolate cream and pumpkin chiffon) at $25 a pop. Gayer also will be taking orders for Wednesday pickup at her bakery (920 E. Lake St., in the Midtown Global Market, Mpls., 612-874-9206, saltytart.com). The pie pop-up runs Nov. 23 from 4 to 7 p.m.
