Caprock Canyons State Park & Trailway: Tire yourself out on 90 miles of multiuse trails and then hit the lake for a swim. You may come across the bison herd, which has free range of the park. Panhandle Plains Museum: Once you've seen the fossils, artifacts and art, take a stroll through the museum's Pioneer Town, which includes a telegraph office, Chinese laundry and jail. Adults, $10; ages 5-12, $5; ages 4 and under free (1-806-651-2244; panhandleplains.org).
