Dec. 27, 1997: After four first-game playoff knockouts in his first five seasons, Green gets his long-awaited playoff victory: a 23-22 win over the Giants in New York.

Jan. 17, 1999: The dynamic, high-powered, heavily favored Vikings are shocked by Atlanta in the NFC Championship Game at the Metrodome, losing 30-27 in overtime.

Jan. 14, 2001: Another star-studded Vikings team crumbles in the NFC title game, this time 41-0 to New York.
