Joel Demos was likely among the happiest in Minnesota to hear that Randy Moss had returned to the Vikings.
Demos, the Republican is challenging Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison in the fifth district, bought his first TV airtime this week during the Minnesota Gophers game Saturday and the Vikings game on Monday Night Football — which just so happens to be Moss's first game back in purple.
"Between the Gopher game with Wisconsin on Saturday and Randy Moss' return to the Vikings on Monday our ad will receive maximum exposure," the campaign said in a statement.
Demos's ad, which talks about the national debt, features his family, including his children doing a variety of jobs.
While Demos trails Ellison handily in fundraising, he's gotten some attention previously for one of his web-only ads, where Demos pulls a monster truck.
