A detour is in place for drivers who use 63rd Avenue between Bottineau Blvd. and Georgia Avenue in Brooklyn Park. The closure is part of work along Bottineau Blvd.
The segment of 63rd Avenue will be closed for approximately six weeks. The detour will take motorists along Zane Avenue, 69th Avenue and Bottineau Blvd.
Drivers on northbound Bottineau Blvd. (also known as County 81) could also experience some delays with lane restrictions as reconstruction of the 63rd Avenue intersection continues.
All southbound lanes will remain at full capacity.
