Andrea Pininfarina, 51, chief executive of the family Italian car design firm that counts Ferraris and Alfa Romeos among its creations, died Thursday in a car accident in Trofarello, south of Turin, Italy. Pininfarina was on a scooter that collided with a car whose driver failed to stop at an intersection, police said.
