Gov. Mark Dayton is due to return to Minnesota from a 10-day trade mission to several Scandinavian countries and Germany.

Dayton's 35-person delegation of private and public sector officials is getting back Friday. They headed overseas on June 12 and made stops in Sweden, Norway and Germany for a series of meetings with business and government leaders and other dignitaries.

While on the trip, Dayton announced that the state would open a new European trade office in Germany to promote exports and foreign investments back in Minnesota.
