Saturday: Hubbard Street Dance Chicago ventures north for one night for the Northrop series at the State Theatre. This 36-year-old troupe founded by Lou Conte and led by artistic director Glenn Edgerton is known for its impeccable technique and a rich legacy of working with some of the top names in contemporary dance. The program features "Fluence," a world premiere for nine dancers by former company member Robyn Mineko Williams, plus 2009's emotionally complex "Casi-Casa" (pictured) by Swedish dance maker Mats Ek and two works from resident choreographer Alejandro Cerrudo.
