Preview: Wild captain Mikko Koivu forced a Game 6 with the Stars by scoring the tying goal with three minutes left in the third period and the winning goal 4 minutes, 55 seconds into overtime Friday for a 5-4 victory at Dallas. It was Koivu's first career playoff overtime winner and first career playoff two-goal game as the Wild improved to 10-6 all-time in playoff elimination games.

Players to watch: Wild D Ryan Suter had two assists Friday and was a franchise-record plus-4. RW Jason Pominville is tied for seventh in the NHL playoffs with six points. Pominville and linemates Erik Haula and Nino Niederreiter have combined for 13 points. Wild G Devan Dubnyk made 37 saves Friday to earn his sixth career playoff win, most in franchise history. Stars LW Jamie Benn has registered at least one point in 10 of his 11 career playoff games (12 points). Stars RW Patrick Sharp has nine goals and 16 points in 19 career playoff games against the Wild.

Numbers: The Wild is 9-6 at home in the playoffs the past four years with two goals against per game, a plus-8 goal differential and plus-98 shot differential. … The Wild's power play, which didn't get an opportunity for the first time in playoff history Friday, is 2-for-28 dating to the end of the regular season.

Injuries: Wild LW Zach Parise (back) and LW Thomas Vanek (ribs) are out. Stars C Tyler Seguin (lower body) is out.
