It's going to feel like 2004 all over again at the Triple Rock on Saturday night, and for good reason. Bush-era punk favorites Dillinger Four, Rivethead, Song of Zarathustra and members of the Crush are all getting together to pay homage to one of their own, guitarist Andy Richardson of the Crush, whose sudden death in September at age 36 still has the local music community reeling. Money raised from the concert will go directly to Richardson's wife and three-year-old son.

The benefit show is a rare chance to see most of these bands. It will be Rivethead's one and only reunion since 2004, members of which now play in Banner Pilot and Off With Their Heads. The members of the Crush are saying this will be their last time performing their songs. Song of Zarathustra has been on hiatus since 2010. D4 is still alive and kicking, of course, but doesn't play often enough. The lineup will also include sets by another band Richardson played in, the Dirty Hits, plus the SoZ offshoot Blackthorne.

No surprise, advance tickets to the show have been gobbled up, although some might be available at the door. However, there are still a couple ways to help Richardson's family around the concert. Last month's big fundraiser auction -- featuring items donated by the Black Keys, Spoon, Har Mar Superstar and many others -- has ended, but a new memorial sale has been set up featuring all kinds of musical gear, featuring a lot of Richardson's personal equipment and a lot of guitar pedals from Minneapolis' ZVEX Effects, where he worked. A general memorial fund was set up via YouCaring.com soon after his death and is ongoing.
