Wolves forward Dante Cunningham is ill and will not play tonight against Houston.

With center Nikola Pekovic (quad contusion) and guard Alexey Shved (ankle sprain) also out, that gives acting head coach Terry Porter nine healthy bodies to work with tonight. And two of those -- Mickael Gelabale and Chris Johnson -- were just signed today and have never worn a Wolves jersey in a regular season game.

That means Gelabale and Johnson, both signed to 10-day contracts Saturday -- will likely see playing time tonight. "Obviously there will be opportunities for these guys to get some time," Porter said. "I don't know how (much). But because of sheer numbers, they're probably going to get some floor time."

Some other items:

--Porter said he's leaning on starting Greg Stiemsma at center, given that Houston starter Omer Asik is so big. But look for the Wolves to go small a lot tonight.

--Guard Ricky Rubio's 26- to 28-minute time limit remains in force, and likely will for another week, Porter said.

That's about it for now. I'll get back to you after the game.
