Miller time

TCM guest programmer Reggie Miller, the Hall of Fame basketball player and TV analyst, defies logic and refuses to select "Hoosiers." Instead, he opts for "Strangers on a Train" (7 p.m.), "Cool Hand Luke" (9 p.m.), "The Graduate" (11:15 p.m.) and "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" (1:15 a.m.). In his defense, Katharine Hepburn did have one heckuva jump shot.

Diving right in

Minnesota's own Louie Anderson gets back in the water for his second round on "Splash" (7 p.m., KSTP, Ch. 5). This time he's partnered with another of the eight remaining celebrities in this surprisingly addictive new series.

Mean Mr. Grinch

Your tolerance for politically incorrect humor will be tested by watching "The Jeselnik Offensive" (9:30 p.m., Comedy), Anthony Jeselnik's I-dare-you-to-laugh-at-this series that takes on any and all comers. Much of it is clever; some is just plain mean.
