A multivehicle accident closed a portion of Hwy. 169 near Golden Valley and caused a major traffic jam midday Sunday.
Local police have closed the highway near the Medicine Lake Road southbound exit, according to MnDOT.
Traffic was backed up for at least 45 minutes, according to MnDOT.
Plymouth police said there were no injures and three vehicles were involved in the crash.
The highway has reopened and traffic is back to normal.
