You might be aware of the holiday cards that Courage Center creates locally and sells every year to benefit its mission: rehabilitation of people with who have had spinal cord injuries, brain injuries, stroke, chronic pain, or autism. The Center helps people with disabilities live more independently.

Next Tuesday and Wednesday (Dec. 22-23), the Courage Center cards and gift shop will discount everything 20, 50 or 75 percent. (Most items are discounted 50 percent.) All holiday cards will be $6, regularly $12 or $13 for 12 cards. The gift shop carries items made by local artists, including jewelry, scarves, purses, ornaments, books and holiday platters.

Courage Center is located at 3915 Golden Valley Rd., Golden Valley, 763-520-0270.
