A public safety story on Page B6 Thursday ended prematurely. The story described an incident in which a Minneapolis woman was charged with first-degree assault after she was shot by three Minneapolis police officers. The last paragraph should have said: Kathleen Mary Wright also was charged with second-degree assault for trying to stab an unnamed acquaintance after he had taken her money to buy drugs. When he came back without drugs or money, she became angry and tried to stab him, ripping his clothing. He called 911.

Spokeswoman Susan Brott said there were no threats last spring. The district recorded 10 bomb threats in fall 2004, but it has received fewer than five threats of any kind each year since, Brott said.
