Coach Mike Zimmer said this morning that cornerback Josh Robinson will be activated from the physically unable to perform list later today.
Robinson returned to practice on Oct. 21. Once a player comes off the PUP list, a team has three weeks to activate him, per NFL rules.
To make room for Robinson, the Vikings waived tight end Chase Ford.
Robinson suffered a partially torn pectoral muscle during spring workouts and started training camp on the PUP list.
Robinson will be fifth or sixth on the depth chart. Robinson, who was a third-round pick in 2012, will be a free agent after the season.
