A slightly edited release from Lowe's:

Cornell forward Colin Greening, the ECAC Hockey Student-Athlete of the Year, was selected as the Lowe's Senior CLASS Award winner last weekend for men's ice hockey.

The award identifies personal qualities that define a complete student-athlete, with criteria including community service, excellence in the classroom, outstanding character and competition on the field. Greening maintains a 3.95 grade point average in applied economics and management and is a member of Cornell's Red Key Honor Society, which is limited to student-athletes who show tremendous leadership, integrity and responsibility within their varsity program in addition to a commitment to community service and academics.

During the regular season, Greening ranked second on the team in scoring with 35 points in 33 games and was named first-team All-Ivy League and second-team All-ECAC. Greening was also a candidate for the Hobey Baker Award. Cornell finished the year with a 21-9-4 record, winning its 12th ECAC title and advancing to the NCAA tournament for the second straight year. Three WCHA players were named either to Lowe's first of second All-America team:
