Coon Rapids High School product Logan Shore has reached an agreement with the Oakland Athletics.

Shore was selected by the A's in the second round (47th player overall) of the amateur draft last month.

His contract was reported to be valued at $1.5 million, just above the slot value for that spot, $1.351 million.

Shore was drafted by the Twins in the 29th round in 2013 but went to college at Florida, where he went 12-1 this season and 30-11 in three seasons.
