A Coon Rapids man who already faces similar charges in Anoka County was charged Friday with a felony for allegedly using a wristwatch camera to record a young boy at a urinal in Mariucci Arena on Dec. 31, 2011.

University of Minnesota Police Chief Greg Hestness said the charge grew out of the Anoka County investigation of Robert D. Minor, 53, who was charged there with felonies for allegedly recording more than two dozen young boys in various stages of undress in locker rooms at area YMCAs. He is accused of surreptitiously recording with a wristwatch camera, according to the charges there.

Hestness said Anoka County alerted U investigators to the video from Mariucci.

In the Mariucci recording, a prepubescent boy is seen urinating at a urinal in a restroom, according to the charges filed Friday. The boy appears uncomfortable with the man's presence, the complaint said. The recording lasts almost a minute and Minor's face is seen at the end looking into the camera, according to the complaint.

Minor was arrested Thursday and charged in Hennepin County with interference of privacy. He remained in the Hennepin County jail Friday in lieu of $75,000 bond.

In Anoka County, he was charged with one count of stalking a victim under 18 with sexual or aggressive intent, two counts of use of minors in a sexual performance and four counts of possession of pornographic work involving a minor.

He was arrested in Anoka County last Saturday, several days after a 12-year-old boy at the Andover YMCA saw a man hold a watch over a bathroom stall partition as he was changing out of his bathing suit.
