After starting the season with a WNBA-record 13 consecutive victories, the Lynx have lost consecutive games for the first time since last August, when they lost back-to-back games three times.
• The Lynx took a 15-4 record into Los Angeles on Aug. 4 and lost 83-61. They left Phoenix with a 15-6 record after a 73-66 loss on Aug. 7.
• The Lynx lost to Washington on the road (77-69 on Aug. 16) and at home (79-61 on Aug. 19) and fell to 18-8.
• Losses at Phoenix (79-67 on Aug. 23) and New York (81-68 on Aug. 28) left the Lynx with just one victory in five games.
