Mergers and acquisitions: HelpSystems acquires software company

HelpSystems, Eden Prairie, announced that it has acquired Linoma Software, Ashland, Neb.

Linoma Software makes information technology software that automates IT processes and secures sensitive data. Founded in 1994 by Bob and Christy Luebbe, the firm has 31 employees and serves more than 3,000 customers worldwide.

HelpSystems provides IT professionals with software to automate and simplify systems and network management and secure data.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
