Commerce Deparment slams mortgage scammers

A Michigan-based company is accused of scamming 118 homeowners seeking loan modifications.

The Minnesota Department of Commerce said today that it charged Save My Home USA with bilking 118 homeowners seeking loan modification services out of nearly $300,000 in fees. If you want more info, my colleague James Shiffer, and his Whistleblower team will have a full story later in the day.
