College basketball preview week

The Star Tribune will preview NCAA basketball this week, with a special national preview in Thursday's paper, the Gophers men's preview Friday and the U women's preview Saturday.

• U men's opener: 7 p.m. Friday vs. Louisiana-Lafayette, Williams Arena

• U women's opener: 2 p.m. Saturday vs. Harvard, Williams Arena
