June in California means blazing sunshine and searing heat, but also coolingsea breezes and coastal clouds, all of which will play a part in the state'sweather Tuesday.Blazing sunshine will have its greatest effect over the Southeastern Deserts.

Highest temperatures will be near 110 F in the Colorado River and Imperialvalleys.

Much of the High Desert north and east of Los Angeles will heat to 100 F andabove.

Farther north, the San Joaquin and Sacramento valleys will warm through the 90sto about 100 F. Not extreme for the last days of June.

Now, at the coast, sea breezes will hold sway from Redwood country south to theMexican border. Low cloud patches will spread along the central and northerncoast, mostly during the morning, but there will be strong sunshine otherwise.

South of Point Conception, low clouds will be widespread during the first halfof the day, even reaching into some of the valleys.

All along the coast, sunshine will make for a significant range in temperaturebetween the immediate coast and the sheltered valleys. Seaside readings willhold in the 60s, but it will warm progressively inland to the 80s and even 90sin the warmest Southern California valleys.
