Greetings. Youngblood here. Russo will be covering the game tomorrow. Russo will also be on ESPN 1500 tonight at 6:15 for Russo Radio. OK, I got that plug in.

It was a very optional skate today for the Wild. Indeed, only a handful of players hopped the bus to St. Thomas Academy. The good news? Cal Clutterbuck was one of them.

Clutterbuck, who has what is called an upper-body injury, has missed the last two games. He took a hit from Trevor Gilles in the Islanders game last week. He returned the next night to play against the Rangers, but hasn't played since.

That's the good news. But it still isn't clear when he will play again. Clutterbuck and Mikko Koivu -- who also skated today -- were on the team flight to Nashville. Clutterbuck said he felt good after the skate. He also said he saw the doctor on Tuesday. He said he didn't need anybody's clearance to return to action, that it was up to him. But then he also said he didn't know when -- or if -- he would play on the upcoming four-game road trip.

Koivu also said he didn't know when he'd return, though he said it wouldn't be against Nashville tomorrow.

In other news:

--D Cam Barker (upper body) did not travel with the team.

-D Clayton Stoner (lower body) did, but I'd say he's questionable for the Nashville game. The Wild called up Marco Scandella from Houston Wednesday afternoon.

That's about it. Russo will pick up the team starting tomorrow morning.
