ALL 20TH CENTURY

Saturday-next Sunday: Three 20th-century rarities and a staple, all led by Scottish-born composer/conductor Oliver Knussen, fill next weekend's St. Paul Chamber Orchestra program. Knussen's own "Scriabin Settings," Frank Bridge's "There Is a Willow Grows Aslant a Brook" (its title from "Hamlet") and Schoenberg's path-breaking "Accompaniment to a Film Scene" serve as prelude to Alban Berg's rigorous yet seductive Chamber Concerto, written for Schoenberg's 50th birthday; violinist Leila Josefowicz and pianist Kirill Gerstein are the soloists. (8 p.m. Sat. Ordway Center, 5th and Washington Sts., St. Paul; 2 p.m. next Sun., Benson Great Hall, Bethel University, 3900 Bethel Dr., Arden Hills. $10-$40. 651-291-1144 or www.thespco.org.)

FILE -- A rent deposit slot at an apartment complex in Tucker, Ga., on July 21, 2020. As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
