Class 4A girls' basketball: Lakeville North 34, Northfield 10, halftime

Away we go.

March 17, 2010 at 3:35PM

Star Tribune Co-Metro Players of the Year Cassie Rochel and Rachel Banham are already both in double figures in points by halftime as Lakeville North staked itself to a 34-10 lead over Northfield at the break in the Class 4A quarterfinals here at Target Center.

This is the first of six games over here today -- with six more going on simultaneously at Williams Arena in Class 3A and 2A. So far, Lakeville North looks every bit as dominant as its 29-0 record would suggest. Not only that, but the Lakeville North band is playing a pretty solid rendition of "Sweet Child O' Mine." Nicely done, kids.
