An elementary-school-age child was injured Wednesday evening in a two-vehicle crash on Hwy. 55 at Rockford Road in Plymouth, police said.
The child, whose name and gender were not released, was thrown from the vehicle and ended up under one of the vehicles. The child was taken to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, Plymouth police said. No condition report was available Wednesday night. No one else was injured.
One of the drivers in the crash fled on foot, but was caught a short distance away, police said.
