Child hit by school bus in Wright County

A child was struck by a school bus Thursday afternoon in Otsego and airlifted to a hospital.

The child was hit about 3:15 p.m. near the intersection of Padgett Avenue and 82nd Circle NE., Wright County Sheriff Joe Hagerty said. The child, who was conscious after being hit, was treated at the scene before being flown to a hospital.

No other details were available Thursday afternoon. The Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota State Patrol are investigating.
