Chaska High School principal David Brecht is moving into a district administrative role this summer after eight years at the helm of the high school in the Eastern Carver County school district.

His new position is Student Services Administrator, which includes supervising student enrollment and coordinating crisis planning districtwide.

Brecht has been in public education since 1996, according to his biography on the Chaska High School page. He's been Chaska High School's principal since January 2008.
