Phoenix and Golden State are essentially tied for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference. Memphis is playing above .500, and is ninth, and the Wolves and Denver are next in line. So, in essence, there are five teams vying for one spot. Here's a look at what the Wolves, Memphis and Denver would have to do if Phoenix and Golden State keep winning at their current percentage, which would have them both finish 48-34.
