What's new since last season?

No more Stars: Team name is Minnesota United FC.

New owner: Bill McGuire bought the team. He brings his wealth as former CEO of UnitedHealth Group. His son-in-law, Nick Rogers, is team president.

Three top players: Former MVPs and high-scoring forwards Eitenne Barbara and Pablo Campos, and goaltender Daryl Sattler.

Five Metrodome home games: The team doesn't play at the National Sports Center in Blaine until July 4.

On the pitch

Tickets: Prices start at $6 for youth, $12 for adults.

Free rides: Metro Transit will provide free bus and light-rail rides two hours before and after kickoff for games at the Metrodome.

Tailgate before the game: Starts at 5 p.m., west of the Metrodome along Kirby Puckett Plaza.
