Stretch run

Up next: UMD (10-0) ends its regular season Saturday at Minot State (1-9). The Bulldogs are 2-0 against the Beavers and have outscored them 96-6.

What's at stake: The Bulldogs already have clinched at least a tie for their seventh consecutive North Division title in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference. They are tied with Minnesota State Mankato (10-0) for the overall conference lead.

Looking ahead: UMD is ranked third in the NCAA Super Region 3 rankings. The top six teams from each of the four super regions advance to the NCAA playoffs, while the top two teams in each region receive a first-round bye before hosting a second-round game. The championship bracket will be announced Sunday at 4 p.m., and the playoffs begin Nov. 22 at campus sites.
