early years

Diggins joined the Minnesota Youth Ski League when she was only 4 years old. By the time she was in seventh grade, she already was showing the form that made her a state champion at Stillwater High School and vaulted her to the Sochi Olympics only four years after graduation.

career Gold medal (with Kikkan Randall) in the women's team sprint at the 2013 world championships in Val di Fiemme, Italy, the first gold medal ever won by the U.S. at the cross-country world championships.

Gold medal (with Randall) in team sprint at a World Cup event in Quebec City last season, the country's first World Cup gold in a cross-country team event.

Two bronze medals as anchor for the U.S. 4x5-kilometer relay team, one last season in Gaellivare, Sweden, and one this season in Lillehammer, Norway, the highest World Cup finishes ever by the U.S. in a relay event.

Minnesota state high school titles in 2007, 2008 and 2010.

Nine U.S. junior championships and five U.S. titles.
