HOW the 2014 ALL-STAR TEAMS WILL BE SELECTED
• Fans vote for nine American League starters, including a DH, and eight National League starters.
• Players vote in 17 AL reserves (five starting pitchers, three relievers, nine position players, including a DH) and 16 NL reserves (no DH).
• The NL manager fills nine slots. The AL manager fills seven slots — two fewer because of the DH spots voted upon by fans and players.
• The final spot on each roster is filled through voting on MLB.com.
Selection show: 6 p.m. Sunday, ESPN
