In the draft
On New Year’s Day, Bridgewater said he would skip his senior season to enter the draft. His draft status dropped after a sketchy pro day performance. He appeared to be falling out of the first round May 8 when the Vikings traded their second- and fourth-round selections to Seattle for the 32nd and final pick of the first round.
