LOS ANGELES--This year's TV Critics Association has had a severe lack of celebrities at their nightly parties, so kudos for CBS, Showtime and CW for filling their outdoor event Sunday night with genuine names. The press bash, held outside across from the Beverly Hilton featured Matt LeBlanc, Lisa Kudrow, Jeff Probst, Tyra Banks, Charlie Rose, Lucy Liu, Julie Chen, Kat Denninigs, LL Cool J, Chris O'Donnell, Gayle King, Hunter Parrish and many others.

I couldn't get around to chatting with all of them, but I did manage to get "Dexter" star Michael C. Hall to gush over his favorite sitcom, the Minneapolis-based "The Mary Tyler Moore Show" and talk politics with new anchor Norah O'Donnell.

Today: Lunch with former Minnesotan Justin Kirk.
