There are few longtime Twins remaining in the majors, too; Denard Span's 2,671 plate appearances with Minnesota and Francisco Liriano's 783â…“ innings are the most among the 25 ex-Twins who opened the season on an MLB roster. That could change, however; Justin Morneau, Johan Santana and Joe Nathan are all rehabbing from surgery and reportedly plan to attempt midseason comebacks.
