The period from Tuesday through Wednesday morning was quite rainy acrossCalifornia. The rain spread as far south as Los Angeles, but the greatestrainfall was from central California northward. The rain was welcome especiallyin California; however, the flooding was not.The front responsible for all the wet weather also brought significantly coolerweather into the far West with temperatures lowering to the 70s in the highdeserts of Southern California.

The next storm system is already approaching, however high pressure buildinginto the Four Corners region will result direct this storm system into BritishColumbia. Any rainfall from this storm will only make it as far south asOregon, so this will allow for California to dry out and in some cases warm up.

An offshore flow will result in rebounding temperatures across southernCalifornia. Temperatures will return to near normal levels today with abovenormal heat building Las Angeles and San Diego.
