Costumes, supplies, make-up, wigs are many of the items one can rent or purchase at Twin Cities Magic & Costume. The legendary costume shop that operated in downtown St. Paul for a quarter-century, is entering its first Halloween season after closing its downtown shop and moving all operations to a spot on Robert Street in West St. Paul. SOUTH METRO HALLOWEEN CALENDAR

EAGAN COSTUME EXCHANGE: Drop off a clean, gently used costume Wednesday or Thursday at the Eagan Community Center, 1501 Central Pkwy., and get a ticket to come back and pick out a different used costume from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday. Free.

FRIGHTMARES AT BUCK HILL: Four haunted attractions, plus music and full-service bar and restaurant. Fridays and Saturdays through October, plus Oct. 17, 20, 24 and 27. HALLOWEEN HAND-ME-DOWNS: Families can drop off an old costume 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday through next Friday, then pick up a "new" costume from the collection between 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Oct. 19.
