United Properties, Minneapolis, named Eric Skalland chief financial and administration officer. Skalland joined the company in 2007 as assistant controller and most recently was chief financial officer. United Properties also named Janelle Hielscher vice president of accounting. Hielscher was vice president of accounting for Sherman Associates and worked for Walser Holding Co. and RSM.

On the move

CSM Corp., Minneapolis, named Mark Prince president of the lodging and residential properties divisions. Prince was divisional vice president of operations and chief operating officer at Holiday Retirement and was president of Pluris Management Group.

Ehlers, Roseville, named Jeff Eaton president. Eaton led Cushman & Wakefield's north central region operation.

Patterson Cos., Mendota Heights, named Tony Pellegrin vice president of business development, mergers and acquisitions. Pellegrin held leadership positions at Honeywell, Carlson Cos., Abra Auto Body and Glass and Supervalu.

Arcserve, Eden Prairie, named Sue Fossnes North American channel director. Fossnes was leader of global partner programs for McAfee and held leadership positions at eSentire and Symantec.

Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis named Wendy Underwood senior director of advocacy and government affairs. Underwood was assistant commissioner for external affairs for the Minnesota Department of Human Services and was government relations director for St. Paul.

George Family Foundation, Minneapolis, named Stephen Manuszak program officer effective Jan. 14. Manuszak was director of international programs for Arts Midwest and worked for Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York.

Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce, Eagan, named Janet Benton, Jeff Ellis, Katie Misukanis and John Padalino to the board.

LeadingAge Minnesota, St. Paul, named Jerry Carley to the board. Carley is president/chief executive of Benedictine Health System.
