Prima Power Laserdyne, Champlin, named Giovanni Zunino president for the Laserdyne product line. Zunino held leadership positions at Comau and CNH Industrial.

Children's Minnesota, Minneapolis, named Paul Skiem vice president of human resources. Skiem was executive vice president for the Brooks Group and was chief human resources officer for Presence Health in Chicago.

Hiawatha Academies, Minneapolis, named Colette Owens executive director. Owens was interim director of curriculum and director of strategy and special projects for St. Louis Public Schools and was a special-education teacher.

HGA, Minneapolis, named Mary Claire Potter health care business developer and senior associate. Potter was business development director for AECOM and was executive vice president for Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Fredrikson & Byron, Minneapolis, named Thomas Bird officer for the business and tax planning and family and closely held businesses groups. Bird was president of Thomas L. Bird & Associates and was director of business succession and estate planning for Supervalu.

LS Black Constructors, Maplewood, named John Urban safety director. Urban was a corporate senior safety consultant for Xcel Energy.

Friends & Neighbors, Minneapolis, named Mitch Green associate creative director.

On the board

Greater St. Paul Building Owners and Managers Association named Clint Blaiser and Julio Fesser to the board. Blaiser is president and chief executive of Halverson & Blaiser Group and Fesser is second vice president, facilities services for Securian Financial Group.

World Farmers' Organization named Gary Wertish chair of the livestock working group. Wertish is president of the Minnesota Farmers Union.

Honors

Environmental Initiative, Minneapolis, gave the Critical Collaborator Award to Ellen Anderson. Anderson is executive director of the University of Minnesota's Energy Transition Lab and a former state senator.

Minneapolis-St. Paul Chapter of Construction Specifications Institute gave Pam Jergenson the John C. Anderson Award of Excellence. Jergenson is a senior building envelope consultant for Inspec.
